Message I've been a member over at 3ZC for over 2 years now and I've
definitely gotten my fair share of crappy advice. I thought I'd
try something different this time because
I seem to have quite a head scratcher going on here (and a
pretty serious one)

I'll brief you on my car first:
1990 Z32TT
JWT ECU
JWT sport 500's
Nismo 555 cc inj.
boost jets
JWT Pop charger
JE Forged pistons
Frount mount intercooler

2 Months ago, I was warming my car up out front of my house
after it had sat a week since the last time it was driven. Take
in mind that the last time it was driven before the incident
there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

After about 3-5 minutes of idling it started blowing some
serious smoke out the pipes. There was a noticeable 'POP'
and the smoke got twice as thick.

I pulled the car in the garage immediately and shut it off.

People on CZP told me to run a compression test and that will
tell me if I had a blown head gasket. I ran a compression test
and found cyl 1,3,5 about 20 PSI below spec. My oil was
brown and thick like a latte.

I got to work. Pulled the motor out, tore it down, pulled the
heads. Head gaskets were not noticeably torn to any degree.
People CZP told me that head gaskets can sometimes blow
with no visible signs. I had the heads re-surfaced. Installed
cometic head gaskets & ARP head studs. Reassembled.

Got the whole thing back together and the exact same
problem persisted. (kill me now) oil filled up with coolant after
about 5 minutes of idling.

The only irregular thing I noticed after re-troubleshooting was
that there was an unusual amount of condensation in the
driver's side hardpipe leading in to the plenum. That got my
gears spinning and makes me wonder if the turbo feeding that
pipe is blown.

What other ways can coolant mix with oil so rapidly without
the head gasket being blown?

Please help!

Bob
